Just a few days ago, Fortnite received a huge update that included several much-needed quality-of-life enhancements to both Save the World and Battle Royale, but as is often the case with fresh updates, several new problems cropped up following its application. Now, Epic Games and People Can Fly have put out another, smaller patch that aims to deal with some of the pesky bugs crawling around in the game's code.

According to the change log for Fortnite's Update 2.3.2, Epic Games and People Can Fly have addressed instances where the game freezes up on Macs, where players are unable to pick up weapons in the collision field of a recently killed player, and where weapons occasionally get stuck in reload animations. What's more is that the publisher and developer's latest patch has also stopped the building mode from persisting if a player has it active in the lobby, and it has also removed the "MiniBoss" marker from Save the World's Rescue the Survivors mission in Stonewood.

For those unaware, Fortnite's original V.2.3.0 patch included a plethora of changes for the Battle Royale mode, with new additions such as an autorun option and the ability to disable aim assist on consoles. Although the update introduced some bugs that didn't exist prior to its implementation, it's nice to see that Epic Games and People Can Fly managed to put out a fresh patch to rectify the errors with such a quick turnaround.

Bearing all of this in mind, with Epic Games ending support for Paragon, its free-to-play MOBA, it's likely that the company will continue to focus most of its attention on Fortnite in the form of updates and patches to bring fresh content into the game and ensure that it continues to run smoothly. After all, Fortnite is constantly evolving in its early access state, and the myriad fans who have been drawn to the title thanks to its free Battle Royale mode could potentially jump ship should its quality deteriorate.

Fortnite is available now in early access on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
