A new mode has been implemented and it is called Party Royale. The new way to play the game encourages socializing and non-violent play. Many players have predicted that this safe space will be used for the huge events the game hosts. The Party Royale mode strips away weapons and building mechanics and is designed to be an area where players can socialize peacefully. Along with this update (v12.50), there are a whole host of other improvements from nerfing the heavy sniper rifle and a host of bug fixes that have impacted the game. There has been a great deal of content for players to find on Fortnite and fans will likely enjoy finding out what this new mode has to offer. Whether the mode can replicate the success of the core battle royale remains to be seen, but it will be a welcome change of pace for many players.
