Since Fortnite Season 6 began back in March, players have been unable to complete their Character Collections due to the absence of NPC 17. Indeed, while fans assumed that this slot would be inhabited by Sparkplug, she has not been appearing on the map over the past month. This is no longer the case, though, as NPC 17 has finally arrived in Fortnite, and this guide will detail exactly where to find her.
To get right to it, Fortnite players that are looking for Sparkplug should turn their attention to Chonker's Customs, a landmark situated just south of Catty Corner. More specifically, fans should check the garage that is behind the gas station at this location, as the NPC can be found wandering around inside. For those fans that may still be having some trouble tracking down Sparkplug, there is a relevant map featured below, and it should make finding NPC 17 a breeze.
While a player is visiting Choker's Customs, they may want to look near the dumpster out back, as a Vehicle Mod: Off-Road Tires frequently appears there. Upon acquiring this mod, players should simply throw it at a nearby vehicle to give it the ability to scale very steep surfaces. This will make traversing Fortnite's map even easier, and players that want to complete the currently-available challenges as quickly as possible may find the mod to be quite useful.
With respect to what those current challenges are, a new batch of Spire Challenges has been made available alongside the appearance of Sparkplug. The first of those new tasks sends fans to play the Spire message at a Guardian Outpost, and from there players will need to talk to five Joneses in Fortnite. It is during the second of these two challenges that fans may learn the true power of the Vehicle Mod: Off-Road Tires, as the Joneses that they must visit are scattered all across the map.
After that challenge is completed, players will then need to speak with Jonesy the First, who can be found in a house at the northwest corner of Pleasant Park. This will ultimately lead to a duel with this Fortnite NPC, though fans may want to consider holding off on that task until they join a bot lobby. Indeed, it can be quite challenging to finish the duel with Jonesy in a standard match, due to the presence of opposing players, and AI-filled lobbies serve as a nice alternative.
