It seems like a busy week for the battle island in Fortnite. Not only has Darth Vader appeared on the Fortnite Battle Island, allowing players to face him and obtain his lightsaber, but the previously rumored Naruto cosmetics are being added to the Item Shop on June 23 at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET. Team 7 (Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke) were added late last year, and now more fan-favorite characters are joining them.

These new Naruto skins had been rumored for a few days now, so it’s not really a surprise to see their addition to Fortnite. Fans of both franchises are indubitably in for a real treat with all the content coming to the Item Shop.

As far as character skins go, Fortnite players will be able to purchase Itachi Uchiha, Gaara of the Sand, Orochimaru, and Hinata Hyuuga. Itachi comes with an alt style for his Black Ops days, Gaara comes with an alt style for the Fifth Kazekage, Orochimaru has a Hidden Leaf Era alt style, and Hinata comes with the Hinata Uzumaki/Byakugan alt styles.

There will be a couple of bundles in the Item Shop per usual, but there is a long list of new cosmetic items joining these skins. They include the following:

  • Back Blings – Hinata’s Backpack, Sand Gourd, Black Ops Mask (many styles)
  • Pickaxes – Minato’s Kunai and Sword of Kusanagi
  • Glider – Sand Cloud (Only Gaara), Manda Glider
  • Emotes – Rasenshuriken, Striking Shadow Snakes
  • A couple of loading screens

Furthermore, the Nindo Community Challenges return today, providing players with new tasks to unlock Emoticons, the Akatsuki wrap, and the Manda Glider. These tasks will be tied to Itachi, Gaara, Orochimaru, and Hinata in some way.

Also, players will be able to return to the Hidden Leaf Village in Fortnite via the Discover Tab come June 23. Quests here can unlock other iconic Naruto locations, like the Final Valley, Chunin Exam arena, and Naruto’s mind realm with Kurama/The Nine-Tailed Fox.

Overall, it’s easy a ton of content that Naruto fans should enjoy, either by celebrating with a new skin or diving into the Hidden Leaf Village. Between this and Darth Vader’s presence on the Battle Island, there’s definitely a little something for everyone built into this battle royale. For fans of Star Wars and Naruto, they’re eating especially well this week.

Fortnite is available now on all major platforms.
