Speculation surrounding Season 5's end in Fortnite continues on, much like the mystery cube itself, which many have now taken to calling Kevin. Currently, Kevin is moving through Tilted Towers heading toward the location where many players expect it to end its tour of the battle island: Loot Lake. While items appearing in this lake has seemingly all but confirmed this, a recent glitch appears to solidify this belief.

Near Loot Lake in Fortnite, a marking has appeared that mimics the shape, size, and characteristics of the cube. However, it's not appearing for everyone, which suggests that it isn't mean to be there. It features the purple-hued shocks that have become iconic characteristics of Kevin, so when combined with its current path, this certainly seems to be the direction it is headed.

Of course, it's worth mentioning the glitch is appearing in the same place as the cake during Fortnite's birthday event. While it could easily be some type of leftover glitch, Kevin's characteristics appearing here make it seem less likely. If this rumor proves to be true, then it's possible that the Dark Reign/ Dark World theme of season 6 is also true, which reportedly begins with the explosion and death of Kevin. Check out the glitch below:

Some believe this glitch could be related to a built floor, but the unique markings would suggest Kevin's involvement. It could be from this location that Kevin drains the lake, empowers the anti-gravity zones, creates the portal to the dark world, brings the Enforcers to the island, is defeated by Drift, and ultimately meets his end. Of course, this is only speculation, but players should know more very soon.

While waiting for the end of season 5, it's worth mentioning that those interested in playing this builder-shooter hybrid on the go should check out this new Fortnite Nintendo Switch Bundle. Complete with a unique skin, it's definitely worth checking out, especially as season 6 launches.

Fortnite is available now in early access for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
