Fortnite is offering a whole new set of challenges known as the Meteoric Rise Challenges. These challenges bring a whole new set of rewards for those who are able to complete the challenges in due time. The Meteoric Rise Challenges give players a chance to unlock the Scientist Skin in Fortnite, which is a fancy-looking legendary outfit for characters. However, Scientist Skin is not the only reward as completing each challenge rewards players with Battle Stars, beyond the Battle Stars they can find after completing challenges.
Fortnite: Meteoric Rise Challenges
- Destroy structures with Junk Rifts
- Visit different Rift Zones in the same match
- Eliminate opponents in Rift Zones
- Search chests or ammo boxes in Rift Zones
- Land in a Rift Zone and place Top 10 in Solo, Duos, or Squads
- Consume Glitched Foraged items with different effects
- Touch a Giant Glowing Cube, enter the Rift above Loot Lake, and search a Landing Pod within a Meteor
Meteoric Rise Challenges Rewards
Completing each challenge will unlock a reward for the players. Here are all the rewards that players can unlock through Meteoric Rise Challenges.
- Completing one challenge - 10 Battle Stars
- Completing two challenges - 10 Battle Stars
- Completing three challenges - 10 Battle Stars
- Completing four challenges - Meteor Man Back Bling
- Completing five challenges - 10 Battle Stars
- Completing six challenges - 10 Battle Stars
- Completing seven challenges - Scientist skin
Most of the challenges are pretty self-explanatory and can be completed without any issues, but the seventh and final challenge, which also unlocks the Scientist Skin, can be a bit tricky if players are not familiar with the locations of the artifacts. The final challenge tasks players to touch a giant glowing cube, enter a rift zone above the loot lake, and search a landing pod within a meteor. Touch a Giant Glowing Cube
The giant glowing cube is available on the Floating Island which was recently added to the game. The Floating Island is a small island that hovers above the ground and changes its location, so it's always in a different place, but players can easily spot it on the map. All players have to do is find the Floating Island and jump into the Giant Kevin Cube at the bottom of the island to complete this task.
Enter the Rift above Loot Lake
Secondly, players need to head over to the Loot Lake where they will find a giant rift right in the middle of the lake. Simply entering the rift will complete this portion of the Meteoric Rise Challenge.
Search a Landing Pod within a Meteor
Finally, players need to head to the spot between the Dusty Depot and Salty Springs where they will find the Landing Pod. To complete the challenge, players need to explore the caves and find a chest or any other available items, finding any kind of loot or item will complete the challenge.
