Fortnite's alien-invasion-themed season is in its seventh week, and, like other weeks, several new Legendary Quests are dropping into the battle royale game. These quests reward players with bonus XP towards the season's battle pass. Some are more difficult than others or just not explained well to the player, but this guide will help players with one specific Legendary Quest. Here's how to find an alien egg in Fortnite and how to mark it.

There are several different Fortnite locations where players can run into alien eggs; however, they also need to be careful when approaching them. Once they hatch, they become the nasty alien parasites that can attach to players and drain their health. Although, the parasites can come in handy since they give the player a boost in speed and jumping ability. The alien parasites can be detached by burning it, getting it wet, using a decoy, or getting shot at by another player.

Alien Egg Location in Fortnite Season 7

One of the best locations for players to find an alien egg is in a small warehouse just northwest of Misty Meadows in the southern section of the Fortnite map. Once players get inside of it and reach the center area, they should spot a few green alien eggs hanging underneath one of the walkways in the air. Players shouldn't get too close, as the eggs can easily hatch if disturbed.

How to Mark Alien Egg in Fortnite

To actually mark the alien egg and complete the legendary quest, all that players need to do is ping the egg. Pinging is an action that's usually reserved for people playing in a group to alert comrades about weapons or items that are in the area. Pings can also be used to mark a location on the map to show the direction and distance of a spot while on the move.

Fortnite players on console should be able to ping the eggs by pressing the left button on the d-pad. Players on PC must have the option turned on in the settings, and then they can use the middle button on their mouse to ping.

Like other quests in Fortnite, other players are bound to show up at this location, too. Gamers should be prepared with at least a gun or two if they don't want to lose their life.

Fortnite is currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
