Fortnite fans that pay for the game’s Crew subscription service have an exciting bundle to look forward to next month. Starting on July 1, Loki will be available to use inside the battle royale game, with the character donning his costume from The Avengers. Seeing the Asgardian in his horned helmet is exciting, as Epic Games has nailed every bit of the movie's design. Players will also get a special glider and his staff as a harvesting tool, with a new loading screen rounding out the exciting pack.

While it is great to see Loki joining his brother and other Marvel characters inside of Fortnite, and the bundle itself seems to hold a lot of value, this should not be where the Loki content stops. The God of Mischief deserves more than just one bundle, as he can add a lot more to The Island. Even if Epic Games does not look at his comic book history, the developer can still squeeze a lot more out of the Loki crossover by looking at the rest of his MCU journey. Specifically, it should bring in content from Loki’s new Disney+ series.

Giving Loki’s TVA Time To Shine Inside Fortnite

Imprisoned Loki Can't Catch a Break In New Otherwordly Trailer

For anyone that has watched the Loki show, the importance of the Time Variance Authority is obvious. As such, if content were to be added that is based around the series, including the TVA would be the right move. Based on what has been shown inside of Loki, the TVA headquarters is wildly impressive from a visual standpoint. As such, it would make a great point of interest in a future Season’s Fortnite map. Being able to mess with all the different tech inside the group’s base of operations could make for some fun weekly challenges, while the hallways are perfect for a third person shooter.

Aside from being cool visually and having some fun opportunities for side quests, the TVA base could have some special NPCs for players to interact with. Loki meeting with the animated Miss Minutes is an off-the-wall concept in the show, but it fits perfectly within the wacky world of Fortnite. Likewise, seeing Mobius walking around could put a smile on the face of MCU fans, with the character offering the standard supplies and quests to those that meet with him. Being able to carry out TVA-specific missions could be a ton of fun, especially if Epic Games were to take things a step further.

While having some Fortnite NPCs themed around the Loki series would be neat, and having a TVA location could make The Island more special, the show’s weapons would also be a neat addition to the game. In Loki, there are two items that are used to reset the timeline. The first is a reset charge, something that could serve as an awesome grenade for players to use in the game. Being able to wipe out an area’s built items instantly could change the flow of a game, as players could clear out enemy structures fast. The second weapon is the TVA baton, and while an insta-kill melee item could be overpowered, Epic Games could balance it out by making it single-use. With the time-based tech being so unique, Fortnite making it a gameplay mechanic would be a big deal.

Adding More Loki-Themed Cosmetics To Fortnite’s Item Shop

While Epic Games unsurprisingly went with Loki’s most iconic look for Fortnite, it should not be the only item that makes its way to the game. Loki could also get some special styles that add his Thor: Ragnarok and TVA outfits to the game, with these more casual options sure to be a hit with fans. Alongside skins for the God of Mischief, adding a special outfit for Loki’s Sylvie character would be terrific. With her one-horned helmet and blond hair making her a memorable twist on the Asgardian, she deserves some time in the spotlight.

Alongside a Sylvie skin and more Loki styles, there are other cosmetics that could be added to the game. Loki’s blades would make for a solid harvesting tool, giving players a change from the staff. As far as emotes are concerned, giving Loki something like Mystique’s exclusive emote would make sense. Seeing him use his green-colored magic to briefly turn into another Marvel character would be fun, and it could give players a chance to try skins they have not bought themselves. Other emotes could see him failing to lift Mjolnir or wielding the Casket of Ancient Winters. While Loki certainly does not need to be the entire focus of a Season, making him a big attraction like The Mandalorian would be for the best.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
