A group of new Location Domination challenges are now live in Fortnite, and while many are quite straightforward, that is not the case for all of them. One of the current Fortnite Location Domination challenges that may be giving players a bit of trouble asks fans to destroy Gnomes at Camp Cod or Fort Crumpet, and this brief guide will help them do exactly that.

To put things simply, the location of Fort Crumpet in Fortnite is directly to the northwest of Sweaty Sands, and the location of Camp Cod is on the island to the southeast of Misty Meadows. Both of these locations are highlighted on the map below, and indeed players that visit these areas will find an array of Gnomes to destroy for this particular Fortnite Location Domination challenge.

For Fortnite fans that are having some trouble finding the Gnomes in these locations, here are more specific details for both Camp Cod and Fort Crumpet:

Fortnite Gnome Locations (Camp Cod)

  • On the bridge at the northwest corner of the island (2)
  • By the umbrella at the center of the island (2)
  • By the generator at the southwest corner of the island
  • By the couch south of that generator
  • By a fire pit south of the structure on the east side of the island
  • Under a tree at the northwest corner of that structure
  • On the dock on the east side of the island

Fortnite Gnome Locations (Fort Crumpet)

  • Behind the cash register at the entrance
  • By the vending machines next to the register
  • In a room with a table and lantern on the first floor
  • Under the stairs on the first floor
  • Outside on the west side of Fort Crumpet's second floor
  • Up inside of the tower at the middle of the fort
  • On the balcony at the top of this tower

To note, players will ultimately need to destroy 25 Gnomes at Camp Cod or Fort Crumpet to fully complete this Location Domination challenge in Fortnite. While this may take some fans a while, Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 is extended into the summer, which means that there is certainly plenty of time to get the job done. Additionally, players should have adequate opportunity to take care of the rest of the challenges in this new batch, and those that do will earn themselves quite a lot of Battle Pass XP.

More specifically, fans that complete all of these Fortnite Overtime Challenges will be rewarded with a total of 900,000 XP. This is certainly no small sum, and it will push many players ever closer to unlocking all of the gold skins in Fortnite Season 2. However, with the last gold skin reserved for fans that reach level 300, players that want them all will not be able to solely rely on these Location Domination challenges.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and mobile devices.
