Fortnite continues to be an absolutely powerhouse for Epic Games, not only in sales but popularity as well. Part of that success, at least over the past few seasons, can be attributed to the number of crossovers and collaborations that have come to Fortnite, turning the game into a virtual toybox for players to use their favorite characters from all sorts of different media like comics, television, movies, and even other video games.

While collaborations have been happening for a while, things have seemingly increased recently following a massive Marvel season that brought Galactus and all sorts of superheroes and villains together even spawning a comic book on the event. While not easy to top, Epic Games brought in a ton of IPs the following season from Star Wars, to Predator, Alien, and even console exclusive characters like Kratos from God of War and Master Chief from Xbox. As it stands now, it appears Epic isn't done adding iconic video game characters to the battle royale.

Prominent Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR revealed a new loading screen coming for the game which incidentally shows off Aloy from Guerrilla Games' Horizon: Zero Dawn. The image shows a Fortnite stylized Aloy hanging off the side of the Battle Bus as a Glinthawk robot flies alongside. The Fortnite character Fishstick appears to be awe struck as it peers out at Aloy from inside the bus.

As it turns out, the character skin doesn't appear to be the only Horizon: Zero Dawn addition into Fortnite. After seeing the loading screen post, other leakers jumped in to reveal even more details. HYPEX posted a short video showing off the new content which seems to include multiple outfits, her spear, a blaze canister, the shield weaver skin for the AR, as the Heart-rizon emote.

In addition, the leaks indicate that Aloy's addition will also add a new LTM called Lead Alloy, which gives players the ability to upgrade all weapons to Legendary rarity, but with higher chances of being attacked by roaming wildlife. For now, players should take this all with a grain of salt now matter how official it may look as Epic Games has yet to officially reveal anything regarding a potential Horizon: Zero Dawn crossover event.

Aloy's inclusion isn't the only other high profile collaboration Fortnite has seen in its current season. In fact, Crystal Dynamics' iconic character Lara Croft was recently added alongside her own LTM called Croft Manor. If the leaks are indeed true, the Lead Alloy event may also see Lara's return as she teams up with Aloy in a Duos style mode where bows and pistols are the weapons of choice.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
