Chapter 4 Season 2's Battle Pass still remains a mystery in an official capacity, but Fortnite leakers already have access to the entire thing. A couple of months have gone by since the launch of Chapter 4 Season 1, and now it's time for it to come to an end and give way to the next season. In the past few days, many players have been grinding the last levels of the Battle Pass and acquiring the final styles for the Solid Skull back bling; all of this must be done before downtime starts.Although there was some confusion surrounding the start time and date for the new Fortnite season for a few days, Epic Games has, at last, confirmed that downtime for Chapter 4 Season 2 will initiate Friday, March 10 around 2 AM ET. Now that has been cleared up, the only mystery that remains regarding the upcoming season is how much the map will change and which skins will be included in the Battle Pass.RELATED: Fortnite Leak Reveals Chapter 4 Season 2 Starter PackMany leaks have already disclosed crucial information about the new Fortnite Battle Pass skins. Fans have even gotten the chance to look at some prototypes, and more is sure to come out very soon. Notorious community leakers, ShiinaBR and HYPEX, have managed to get a look at the Battle Pass in its entirety, but they have announced that they will only be sharing the pages once Epic Games reveals more skins.

Since these dataminers have always shared images of cosmetic items and quests before they're actually in the game, it is unknown why they are holding off now. This might be a matter of respect for the gaming company, wanting to keep the surprise going for players, or they might simply be afraid of any legal consequences by upsetting Epic Games. Both Shiina and HYPEX are part of the Fortnite Support-a-Creator program, therefore they certainly would want to stay on Epic's good side.

A while after downtime commences is usually when leakers work the hardest and start revealing everything they find in the game files. It is likely that Epic Games will still release a couple of extra teasers for the new Fortnite season and allow the leakers to post more sneak peeks at the Battle Pass pages before they're released on Friday. This is always a great way to help players that are on the fence decide if they want to get the Battle Pass or not.

Fortnite is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
