The Ripsaw Launcher was added to Fortnite on June 21, and it is now playing a role in a brand new weekly quest. Specifically, the quest instructs players to knock down Timber Pines with a Ripsaw Launcher, and fans will need to demolish a total of five trees before everything is said and done. For those players that may be unclear about where they are to find a Ripsaw Launcher or some Timber Pines in Fortnite, this guide contains full details on how to tackle this Week 4 challenge.

To note, Ripsaw Launcher Week is in effect until July 5. This means that the weapon can currently be found on the ground, in chests, and in supply drops, giving players a variety of opportunities to pick up the Ripsaw Launcher in Fortnite. That said, Timber Pines do not grow in every part the map, and it is thus recommended that fans target a specific area, which has guaranteed Ripsaw Launchers and the relevant trees, for the purposes of completing this challenge.

Fortnite: Knock Down Timber Pines with a Ripsaw Launcher

The easiest way to address this quest is to make a trip to the Chop Shop, a Landmark on the north side of Fortnite's map. While some players will already be quite familiar with this particular location, it has been marked on the map that is below for the sake of full clarity. Upon arriving at the Chop Shop, fans should head inside and to the storage room in the back, as there are several Ripsaw Launchers on the wall in that room.

With the weapon in hand, Fortnite players should exit the Chop Shop and look for the very tall trees with the light brown trunks in its vicinity. Indeed, these are the Timber Pines referenced by the challenge description, and the Ripsaw Launcher's saws will make short work of them. In fact, players will fell the five requisite trees and claim the associated XP reward in no time flat using this method.

After completing this challenge, players may want to focus their efforts on some other Week 4 quests. One of those quests requires fans to plant Reality Seeds at Sunflower's Saplings or Fungi Farm in Fortnite, and that begins with a trip to the Reality Tree in Reality Falls. From there, players can grab a car, drive down to Fungi Farm, and plant their seed for some more quick progress on the seasonal Battle Pass.

Fortnite is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
