Fortnite x Batman crossover is live now, and the new Gotham-inspired event brings a lot of new content to the game. Apart from all the Batman skins and cosmetics available in the store, there are new missions and challenges available for players to complete for new rewards. Players have until October 1 to complete the Batman challenges in Fortnite and claim all the rewards which include, but are not limited to, the Catwing Glider as part of this Batman crossover.
Fortunately, most of the Fortnite x Batman challenges are easy to complete and don’t require much effort, but one challenge that might prove to be a bit difficult for players is the one where players have to locate and defuse Joker canisters scattered across the Fortnite map. If players are unaware of the locations for these canisters, then this challenge can be a real pain to complete. So, this guide will show the exact locations for the Joker canisters, for players to easily find and defeuse them in time.
Where to Find The Joker Gas Canisters
The Joker canisters spawn at different locations for each match which means players will have to search the specified areas to find the canister; however, fortunately, the areas where the gas canisters will spawn are fixed. Also, the Joker gas canisters are not reusable which means if a player defuses a gas canister, then that canister won’t be available for other players to defuse. So, it’s recommended to head over to the canisters’ location as quickly as possible to complete this Batman challenge.
The Joker gas canisters can be found in Lucky Landing, Pleasant Park, Salty Springs, Shifty Shafts, Fatal Fields, Loot Lake, Retail Row, Moisty Palms, and Haunted Hills. Players will have to search each of these locations to find the canisters, but it shouldn’t be too hard to find them. Salty Springs is also home to the latest time trial that players can complete to earn a special reward.
How to Defuse Joker Gas Canisters
Once found, the gas canisters can be defused by interacting with them. To complete the challenge, players need to defuse three canisters in three different named locations, so defusing three canisters in the same location won’t count. Also, the gas canisters will explode after a certain time, so it's recommended to defuse them as quickly as possible. Completing the challenge will grant players 10 Battle Stars and will bring them one step closer to all the items available with Fortnite x Batman Crossover.
