With Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 out now, players are getting to grips with new Marvel-themed content, as the title has opted to include characters like Iron Man, Wolverine, Thor, and She-Hulk. Alongside them are several new additions to the game's map, with players able to explore the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier before a match or journey into Doom's Domain, which has taken over Pleasant Park.

There are also new additions to the battle royale's range of equipment, including superhero abilities and The Stark Industries Energy Rifle. However, according to a new leak by dataminer SexyNutella, it seems there may be a fresh piece of Marvel-themed tech worthy of one of its hero's iconic styles coming to the game soon.

This leak reveals an Iron Man-themed Whiplash, which for those uninitiated with Fortnite's vehicles, is its lightning-fast sports car. Tony Stark's take on the vehicle will be slightly different, sporting a new look exclusive to Iron Man. SexyNutella featured a picture of the car on their Twitter post about the leak, showing the superhero's crimson and gold color scheme alongside an arc reactor on the hood that lights up.

According to SexyNutella, the Iron Man Whiplash will also be much faster than its standard equivalent, with a top speed reaching 120 instead of the usual 90. That's a big leap that will no doubt give its driver a huge in-game advantage, so it'll be interesting to see how the car is implemented into the battle royale.

The new vehicle will likely need to have some deterrent so it's not too overpowered for those lucky enough to come across it, and some fans have speculated it will be hard to find. All in all, it's great to see Fortnite get more vehicles, even if it could only be available during the current season.

As for Season 4 itself, it seems fans are already on board with the new Nexus War focus, with some seeing it as another memorable season for the hit battle royale. It'll no doubt be interesting to see where the slew of Marvel-focused content will go from here, with new leaks already hinting that an Ant-Man area will be added to the game. With Marvel's Avengers launching on September 4, all things considered it seems to be a really great time to be a Marvel Comics fan.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions currently in development.
