Fortnite players have to earn themselves Battle Stars so that they can unlock new cosmetic items from the Battle Pass for Season 7. However, in order to get these special stars, doing well in battle royale matches is a must, as well as completing the new quests that get added to the game every week. Legendary Quests typically get added on Wednesdays, and Epic Quests on Thursdays. These challenges can sometimes throw players for a loop, but this guide will help gamers out so that they can earn XP and move on to a different quest.

One of the Epic quests for Fortnite Season 7, Week 11, requires players to interact with equipment at any IO radar dish base. It may seem simple at first, but some players have trouble figuring out exactly where to look.

IO Radar Dish Base Locations

Fortnite players can find the IO radar dish base locations at several spots around the battle royale map. There are seven IO bases in total, and players can easily spot them when falling from the Battle Bus at the start of a match. Look for the large satellite dishes glowing red, and those are the IO bases. Players can use the map below to find the dish location that best suits their needs during a match.

How to Interact with Equipment

Now, players will need to find and interact with some equipment to actually complete the quest and earn XP. The equipment in question is an orange-colored screen attached to the bottom of every satellite dish at each IO base on the Fortnite map. All that players need to do is walk up to the screen and press the interact button to use the equipment. Players will upload something using the screen, and the quest will be completed once it is done.

For players that are looking for more activities to partake in around the island, there are dozens of Alien Artifacts scattered about. There are not any new ones for Week 11, but there are still plenty out there for gamers to collect. Obtaining these artifacts not only reward players with XP but can also be used to unlock new styles for the Kymera skin.

Fortnite is currently free to play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
