Fortnite's Season 9 Overtime challenges continue, and Epic is offering both free and Battle Pass challenges to keep players active until Season 10 arrives. One of Fortnite's most recent Season 9 Overtime challenges tasks players with searching for a location that some may not be familiar with: an indoor soccer facility.

Players will not only have to find the indoor soccer facility, but they will also have to score a goal. While this may not sound too troublesome, scoring a goal against a throng of other Fortnite players is no simple measure. At the very least, Epic has designed the soccer field to respawn the soccer ball after a goal is scored, and players should thus focus on surviving rather than rushing to score a goal.

The reward for completing the indoor soccer field challenge is an Uncommon loading screen featuring the Season 9 showcase art that is currently being displayed by default. It features most of Season 9's core Battle Pass skins on a white background, and it should serve as a nostalgic reminder of the season's events.

Where to Find the Indoor Soccer Field

Luckily for players, the indoor soccer field in Fortnite isn't hidden, secreted away, or only unlocked through a puzzle. It's just somewhat out of the way, as, despite being right next to Neo Tilted and the now destroyed Polar Peak, it is not near any high-traffic paths to the center of Fortnite's Season 9 map.

To access the indoor soccer field, drop to the west of Neo Tilted and to the north of where Polar Peak used to be. The indoor soccer field is in an unnamed area of the map, just north of the snowy region and on the road between Snobby Shores and Neo Tilted. The building itself is horizontally oriented and looks like a warehouse.

Entrances to the indoor soccer field can be found on either the east or west ends of the facility, but for players who are trying to score a goal fast, it may be best to break through the ceiling at the center of the field.

How to Score a Goal

Scoring a goal in the indoor soccer facility is as simple as it sounds, but it deserves a short explanation for the sake of clarity. That is, if the player lines up their character directly in front of the ball, and walks straight forward, the ball will move in a straight line. If the ball is to the side of the player character, or is hit by a player in motion, it can be deflected to the side.

When the ball is at the center of the field, it's just a matter of two or three straight kicks to put it into the goal. Either goal on either side of the field will count for the challenge, so kick it towards the one that is closest or most in-line.

Scoring a goal will shoot confetti out of the goal-frame and play a celebratory sound. The soccer ball will then reset at the center of the field after several seconds. As soon as the goal is scored, the players' challenge should be marked down as completed.

The Fortnite Season 9 Overtime challenges will be ending three days from now, on August 1. That date also marks the beginning of Season 10, and players are thus advised to make the best of the time remaining if they hope to complete these final Season 9 challenges.

Fortnite is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, Xbox One, and mobile devices.
