Case in point: one of the latest Epic Quests centers around hunting wildlife, and players will need to eliminate three creatures in order to complete it. For those fans that are wondering where they should look for wildlife in Fortnite Season 7, this guide details several great locations.
Where to Find Wildlife in Fortnite Season 7
To get right to it, one of the absolute best areas for hunting wildlife in Fortnite is the field that is just east of Pleasant Park. Indeed, boars and chickens can both be found frequently in this location, and a handful of shots with any weapon should be enough to dispatch them. That said, it is likely that many players will be targeting this area for the challenge, and fans that wish to avoid conflict may prefer to visit a quieter location.
One of the good hunting spots that may be slightly less populated is directly east of Defiant Dish, which is positioned to the east of Weeping Woods. Notably, the wildlife that appears in this location is more dangerous than what is found around Pleasant Park, as it is Fortnite’s wolves that typically spawn there. Even still, players should not have much trouble slaying these creatures so long as they make some amount of preparations before engaging with them.
If a Fortnite player does not find any wildlife in this area, it is recommended that they simply head on over to Weeping Woods and make a sweep of its perimeter. Indeed, creatures are often circling the forested area, and fans are likely to find the three that they need for completion of the challenge before they finish a loop. Players can make this process even easier by activating “Visualize Sound Effects” in audio settings, as that will point them directly toward any nearby wildlife.
To note, there is actually another new Epic Quest that focuses on the areas around Weeping Woods. Specifically, it is the challenge that instructs players to deliver a Saucer to Rick Sanchez at Definat Dish, and fans may want to try to address these tasks in quick succession. For those players that do want to pursue this opportunity for efficiency, it is recommended that they focus on the Saucer challenge first, or else they may not be able to find a UFO very easily.
