Fortnite’s Week 6 challenges have dropped for Chapter 3 Season 2, and players will want to complete as many as they can to quickly level up their Battle Pass and unlock the high-level cosmetics before the season ends. This week’s Fortnite challenges are largely weapon-based and involve a fair amount of skill to pull off, though there is one quest that needs only a bit of know-how to complete.

This challenge tasks Loopers with launching a cabbage 100 meters in one throw. While sounding simple enough, this calls into question players’ knowledge of Fortnite's recently revitalized map, as well as their cabbage tossing skills. This guide will help players find the optimal location for getting and launching cabbages to complete this quest.

Where to Find and Launch Cabbages

This quest can be completed anywhere on the map, provided players are in Fortnite's new Build Mode and have access to cabbages. The viridescent vegetable can be found all over Island Artemis in the brown and green boxes which provide an assortment of fruit and veg, once looted. Moreover, players can build tall (but vulnerable) structures from which to throw the cabbages to complete the quest.

In Zero Build Mode, arguably the best place to find and throw cabbages is at the plateau shack found between Condo Canyon and the newly war-torn Rocky Reels. This is most easily accessed by gliding straight onto it from the Battle Bus, but may be reached by using one of the Ascenders along the cliff. There are two cabbage planters just northwest of the house, beside the silver RV. Make sure to grab as many cabbages as possible to avoid having to come back.

Still on the plateau, facing southwest from the planters, players can see a rock pillar with a blue, red and yellow container stacked atop it. The pillar has a Zipline that leads up from the corner of the white shack; take it up and begin mantling the containers, being careful not to bounce off the tires. Once on the yellow container at the very top of the stack, equip the cabbages in hand and press the aim button to see the throw trajectory. Players will want to aim the cabbage at a somewhat 90-degree angle and throw. This will take a bit of trial-and-error, but players should have 12 tries if they looted the entirety of the cabbage patch. Eventually, the cabbage will travel 100 meters and the quest will be complete, earning players an impressive 20K XP.

Fortnite is currently available for Android, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
