Fortnite's Lantern Fest event is underway, and players can complete challenges to unlock rewards and extra XP towards leveling up the Battle Pass. Not only will players need to complete all the challenges at the Lantern Fest Tour, but they'll also need to solve a Lantern puzzle, which is one of the week 1 tasks for the event. Lantern Fest Tour Island Code

Before Fortnite players can even attempt to solve the lantern puzzle, they'll need to get inside the community-made island map. If players press the button above the option for 'Public/Private Game,' they can look through the fan-made creations.

How to Solve a Lantern Puzzle at Lantern Fest Tour

Once Fortnite players log into the map, they can run up the stairs to see all the challenges they can partake in. However, those that just want to solve one of the lantern puzzles straight away can head down the path northwest of Bounty Bolivard until they see a green-colored structure with a pointy top. This is a lantern puzzle, and as long as there's not another player inside, players can approach it to start the puzzle.

Players will have 30 seconds to hit the five canisters in the correct order. Each one has an icon on top of it. The correct order to complete the puzzle is: Camel, Sun, Island, Cactus, and Palm Tree. Upon completion, gamers will earn some XP. Make sure to hit them quickly before time runs out. If players surpass the time limit, another player might enter the puzzle room. So players might have to wait a moment before jumping back in to try the puzzle again.

During this spring season of Fortnite, players can also complete Spring Breakout quests until April 11, 2023, to earn rewards like a Bloomback Sack Back Bling, the Shell Smash Spray, The Works Loading Screen, and a Spring Breakout Banner Icon.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC, PS4, PS5, Mobile, Switch, Xbox One, and XSX/S.
