While a number of Gold XP Coins were added to Fortnite over the past several weeks, it was not until Season 3 Week 8 began that players were actually able to collect them. Indeed, fans can now pickup all of the Gold XP Coins that are scattered across the game's map, though some players may not know exactly how that is done. Fortunately, it is not extremely challenging to get all of the Gold XP Coins in Fortnite Season 3 with a bit of instruction and a map of their locations.
To start, the key to getting Fortnite's Gold XP Coins is to have access to a helicopter or car, as these coins will only be collected if they are contacted by a player inside of a vehicle. In general, fans should plan to use one of the new cars in Fortnite to get the Gold XP Coins that are located on a road and a helicopter to get those that are found in the air, though this is not a hard and fast rule.

- 2: In the middle of the road northeast of Catty Corner.
- 3: Under the bridge southwest of Catty Corner.
- 4: Hovering next to the dam southeast of Weeping Woods.
- 5: On the covered bridge south of Frenzy Farms.
- 6: On the road southeast of Craggy Cliffs.
- 7: Floating in the air between the stacks at Steamy Stacks.
- 8: On the road west of Salty Springs.
- 9: On the road that leads into Holly Hedges from the west.
- 10: On top of the lighthouse on the island northeast of Coral Castle.
With each Gold XP Coin granting a significant 15,000 XP, collecting all of the coins denoted on the map above is certainly a great way for players to make some serious progress on Fortnite's Season 3 Battle Pass. Additionally, while these fans are hunting down Gold XP Coins they are sure to come across some of the Blue, Green, and Purple coins from this season, as well as some of the weekly challenges, which will help them advance even more quickly into the highest tiers of the Battle Pass.
