One of the Fortnite Season 4 Week 3 challenges asks fans to deal 250 damage with exploding Gas Pumps or Gas Cans, and indeed many players are sure to be working hard to blow one another up with the assistance of gasoline at this very moment. That said, there are methods for completing this Fortnite challenge that are far easier than trying to damage opposing players with petrol, and this guide is here to detail two of them.

The first way to easily deal damage with Gas Pumps or Gas Cans starts with a trip to Doom's Domain, a named location that many Fortnite fans know well as Pleasant Park. Around the statute that sits at the center of Doom's Domain players will find Doom Henchmen, and they should proceed to use their weapons to knock one down. When that is done, fans should approach the downed Henchman, pick them up, and carry them to the gas station that is found on the east side of the area.

Upon arriving at the gas station fans should place the Doom Henchman in front of one of the Gas Pumps. They should then fire upon the pump until it explodes, and indeed the damage that it deals to the NPC will count towards the completion of this new Fortnite challenge. For those players that would like a visual reference for this process, the following video will provide exactly that:

Alternatively, fans can head to the Gas N' Grub landmark, which is found next to the road just southeast of The Authority on Fortnite's map, for another easy opportunity to complete this challenge. Specifically, players should first grab the two Gas Cans that are found next to the crate behind the gas station and then take them into the restaurant that is next door. Inside fans will find two dancing Henchmen, and all that they must do is throw the Gas Cans at their feet and use their guns to detonate them.

To note, it is very likely that many players will be using these two methods to complete the deal damage with exploding Gas Pumps or Gas Cans challenge over the next several days, and it may be easiest to plan to complete this task later in the week. Certainly, there are plenty of new activities that fans can occupy themselves with, such as finding Wolverine's Trophy at Dirty Docks and eliminating Iron Man at Stark Industries, while they wait for the dust to settle around this gasoline-focused challenge.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions in development.
