How to Collect Stored Items from a Tent in Fortnite

Found in random locations around the map set up or as floor loot, players will need to collect stored items from a Tent - two, to be exact. The two items can essentially be any type of item, with another Tent being the only exception. In order to collect stored items from a Tent, players must first store the items inside of it. This can be done simply by claiming or throwing down a Tent, and then using the interaction input to store the items. Players can then immediately collect the pair of stored items from their tent into their inventory, completing the quest.

While storing an extra pair of retrievable items can certainly come in handy, Fortnite's Tents have much more to offer. For starters, players can pay 100 Gold Bars to add a third storage slot. Tents also have a health restoration ability, with players able to regain their HP by resting inside. When playing with others, teammates can interact with a Tent to purchase their own.

Should players suddenly need to abandon their Tent, they can access their stashed items simply by finding a new one. Perhaps the most game-changing feature of Fortnite's Tents is its item storage capability working across more than one match. Players can reclaim their stored items from previous matches by finding another Tent on the island, which may give them an edge to attain a Victory Crown.

While Fortnite's Tents are undoubtedly a game-changing utility, it isn't the only new item altering the battle royale's gameplay for Chapter 3. Spider-Man's Web Shooters have been universally lauded as a fun an advantageous traversal item, and are arguably the most sought-after new items this season. The iconic gadget can only be found by finding one of Peter Parker's hard-to-find backpacks, so storing a pair in a Tent for future use may be an advisable strategy, and will also count toward completing this quest.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
