Fortnite, Epic's genre-defining Battle Royale FPS, has been going strong for almost three years now. The frenetic shooter owes at least part of its ongoing popularity to the constant stream of updates that have kept the game fresh. Battle Royale titles, with their fast gameplay cycle, live or die on replayability, and Epic has made every effort to keep people from getting bored with Fortnite.

The driving force at the core of these updates and events has been Fortnite's many crossovers. The latest of these, Fortnite x Birds of Prey, is centered around Harley Quinn and her new solo movie. The event adds a pair of Harley Quinn skins to the game, one of which, the Always Fantabulous Harley Skin, is only available through challenges.

Always Fantabulous

Birds of Prey And the Fabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn features a new look for the classic DC character played by Margot Robbie. It's this unique look that is the harder skin to unlock in the Fortnite Battle Royale event, requiring players to complete a number of challenges.

First, players will need to place in the top 30 players in a solo, duo or squads match, then in the top 20, and finally in the top 10. Next, players will need to hit 100 weak points while harvesting materials, which should be fairly easy for any player. Finally, players will need to deal 100 points of damage with their Pickaxe- again a fairly straightforward task compared to what's been seen in the past.

Lil Monster XoXo Skin

In addition to the Always Fantabulous Harley Skin, the basic Harley Quinn skin that comes with the Birds of Prey X Fortnite event is called the Lil Monster XoXo Harley Skin and is available for 1500 V-Bucks, or a little more for the full event bundle.

Birds of Prey x Fortnite is the thirteenth Fortnite crossover since the game's launch in 2017, and the sixth since it was reborn as Fortnite Chapter Two. It's been a while since the black hole swallowed the game as it used to be, and now Chapter Two Season Two is on the horizon, promising to bring a fresh load of changes and content.

Fortnite is available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Android, Xbox One, iOS, and PC.
