About a couple of days ago, Epic Games showed fans it's ready to embrace the Halloween season in Fortnite Battle Royale by placing decorations all over game's map, including ghosts, webs, and giant spiders. Now, it looks as if the developer is preparing to offer players some new Halloween-themed cosmetics soon, as a datamine of Update 6.01's game files have uncovered a handful of fresh skins, gliders, pickackes, and more.

As seen in the compiled gallery below in the tweet from TwoEpicBuddies, Fortnite fans are going to have a couple of creepy-looking scarecrow skins to choose from, with two similarly designed gliders that drive the Halloween theme home. What's more is that there's even going to be a "T-Pose" emote that complements the scary harvest garb, as it ought to help players absolutely nail the look of a scarecrow.

With the Halloween spirit in the air, Fortnite fans are likely wondering if Epic will supplement the aforementioned cosmetics with the return of the rare Season 1 skin, Skull Trooper, as the character was recently seen in the game's Season 6 trailer. Should that occur, it wouldn't be the first instance of the developer re-introducing a popular skin into the title, as it recently brought back the Power Chord skin and her Volume 11 gear.

All things considered, it will be interesting to see what other Halloween-themed cosmetics Epic could have planned to commemorate the in-game festivities centered around the holiday. And speaking of Fortnite and Halloween, there's a high chance of 2018 having droves of trick-or-treaters wearing costumes similar to those found in Saturday Night Live's recent sketch about the game.

Fortnite is available now in early access for iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. An Android beta is underway.
