Everyone may be a little distracted by Fortnite's Batman crossover event happening right now, but that doesn’t mean the game has stopped delivering its usual slate of new weekly content for Season 10. That means there's a whole new set of daily challenges to take on.

This time, it’s the Gothic mission set, and while that may sound Batman-esque, it’s removed enough from all of the crossover content that fans who want a break from the Caped Crusader can happily do so with these. Besides, Batman fans already have the Fortnite Gotham City challenges to get their fix with.

Gothic Challenge Schedule

Like with past weeks, the Gothic mission challenges consist of seven different side-objectives that players can take on while they run, shoot, loot, and build through regular matches. These have been rolling out at the rate of one challenge each day for Week 8, and they consist of a variety of tasks. Specifically, the challenges for Fortnite's Gothic mission are:

September 19 - Deal 500 damage to opponents in a single match

September 20 - Land at Salty Springs or Junk Junction in three different matches

September 21 - Get three eliminations with suppressed weapons

September 22 - Search an ammo box in three different named locations in a single match

September 23 - Search 7 chests at Hot Spots

September 24 - Visit both Retail Row and The Block in the same match

September 25 - Deal 500 damage to opponents using SMGs

So nothing too out of the way for the average player to pull off. However, players may want to focus on the sixth challenge as soon as it's available, as the latest of Fortnite's Rift Beacons is targeting The Block. Depending on where things go beyond Week 8, this may be the last time they’ll be able to see The Block, at least in its current version.

Gothic Challenge Rewards

As usual, there are plenty of rewards to be found for completing the daily missions, which scales with every challenge players complete. Unlike the challenges, the rewards are the same as past weeks in Season 10, with Battle Stars, XP, and the loading screen hinting at the location of Week 8's secret Battle Star being doled out in the same fashion. For those who are new to the game, though, here’s how it breaks down:

Complete any 1 objective: Receive 10 battle stars

Complete any 2 objectives: Receive 500 XP

Complete any 3 objectives: Unlock the Gothic loading screen\

Complete any 4 objectives: Receive 10 Battle Stars

Complete any 5 objectives: Receive 1,000 XP

Complete any 6 objectives: Receive 10 Battle Stars

Complete any 7 objectives: Receive 2,000 XP

These rewards will only be up for grabs until the end of Week 8, which will give way to Week 9 and a whole new set of daily challenges on the morning of Thursday, September 26.

Fortnite is available now in early access on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
