Long have Fortnite players been tormented by the elusive nature of Gold Scavenger Medals. With the newest week of Fortnite bringing a whole slew of new challenges including the Rippley Vs Sludge mission, fans need more help than ever to know where the best places to look for chests are. However, Fortnite fans that are eager to complete this mission and move onto other challenges are having a hard time locating the five Gold Scavenger Medals required.

Fortunately Fortnite fans needn't worry about locating the Gold Scavenger Medals, as the best methods for farming them will be outlined below. What's recommended is knowing where to land, and that the place be quiet and chock full of loot.

Know Where to Land

On the top-left point of the mainland on the western side of the Fortnite map, players will notice an area just to the left of Sweaty Sands that is colored in grey. This area contains a ruined castle, which is notably stuffed with loot. Landing here alone should be enough to get players to about the halfway mark in collecting enough Gold Scavenger Medals.

When Fortnite players are still dropping into the area, be sure to land on the roof. Once there, players will notice a chest that spawns on the building's balcony. Two more chests await Fortnite players in the alcoves of the main building, while three more are scattered throughout the castle ruins' outskirts. Luckily all players have to do is run around, and they should be able to hear the chests.

Loot Away

After looting all of the chests in the castle ruins area, Fortnite players should make their way east to the nearby Sweaty Sands. Within the Sweaty Sands is a skateboarding course, which contains two more chests. Once these two chests have been looted, players should make their way into the nearest building to continue their search.

Once inside, it shouldn't take too long for Fortnite players to find some more chests as this is a high spawn area for them. As players loot more and more chests, they'll also find themselves with an abundance of Medi Packs. Fortnite players should save these, as they may come in handy should the circle begin to shrink, and players find themselves with a shortage in Gold Scavenger Medals.

But Fortnite fans should stay focused lest they miss something hidden, and not quit until they get all the Gold Scavenger Medals needed to complete the mission.

Fortnite is available for the PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Android, and iOS.
