Fortnite is already chock full of Marvel superheroes and villains for players to unlock as skins. Iron Man, Thor, and Wolverine are but just a few examples and Epic Games appears to be taking full advantage of the deal with Marvel.

While today's Halloween update, Fortnitemares, which has added new cosmetics, a new mode, and is setting up the return of Fortnite Season 2's Midas, has pulled the focus away from Marvel for the time being, Epic may already have a new Marvel character skin prepared for this month.

Fortnite dataminer HYPEX has looked into the game's files following the update's launch and believes they have discovered two new achievements (they stress that they're achievements and not challenges). The first is called Back To The Shadows and is earned by defeating Shadow Midas, whose existence has already been confirmed by Epic.

It's the second that has grabbed eyes, as it explicitly mentions Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance. The achievement, Hell on Wheels, is apparently earned by driving a vehicle as Ghost Rider, which more or less suggests that he will be included as a playable skin.

Unlike some other previous leaks, there are no images of the Ghost Rider skin, but it will no doubt also come with other accessories like Back Bling and maybe even a new superpower for players to use, like Ghost Rider's chain whip or his hellfire. Or hopefully his motorbike, easily the most iconic aspect about the character.

The leak doesn't indicate when Ghost Rider will be made available. Epic could be saving him to be a reward for one of its upcoming tournaments, just like Daredevil, before being made available to the public, but he would be a perfect fit for the current Halloween event too.

Though is it possible that the Ghost Rider skin isn't the original Johnny Blaze? Over the years, there have been other Ghost Riders, such as teenager Robbie Reyes who, instead of a bike, drove a car. Recently, even Deadpool became a Ghost Rider, whose vehicle is a taco truck. While it would be neat to see another, less represented character appear in Fortnite, Johnny Blaze's status as the original and best recognized means it'll probably be him.

Despite rumors, there's been no sign of Spider-Man being added to Fortnite. Datamines from August even suggested that some of his villains would be included too. Even if that info isn't accurate, adding Spider-Man seems like a guarantee considering he's Marvel's most iconic and popular superhero.

Fortnite is available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
