As soon as the Battle Pass was announced for Fortnite's Chapter 4 Season 1, players knew they would be able to unlock Geralt of Rivia at some point in the season, and now the time has finally come. Fortnite and The Witcher franchise have crossed paths and players can now find Geralt running around the battle royale island as he tries to get a Victory Royale.

Geralt is just one of the many video game characters that have made their way into Fortnite as part of the Gaming Legends set. This article will explain how players can get the Geralt of Rivia skin in Fortnite.

How To Unlock Geralt

Geralt of Rivia can only be unlocked by players that have bought the Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass. So, players that haven't gotten it yet need to acquire it before moving on to the next step. The Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks, and if fully completed players can unlock up to 1,600 V-Bucks, making it so those that finish it don't have to spend more money on the game to unlock future Battle Passes.

One of the Battle Pass pages is called "Geralt of Rivia" and it contains all of the cosmetics items that players can unlock related to Geralt's character. Geralt quests will also be displayed in the Quests tabs, and players must complete them in order to get this skin.

There are five Geralt of Rivia quests live at the moment, and more will be revealed February 28, once the second Geralt of Rivia page is available. Here are all the quests and their respective rewards:

Quest

How to complete

Reward

Activate Reality Augments in five different matches

Reality Augments can be activated four times per match, but for this quest players only need to activate a single Augment in five matches. It takes about two minutes and 30 seconds once the Battle Bus starts moving, so players can simply leave the match and start a new one after activating an Augment.

Complete three bounties

Bounties can be accepted at any named location in the game. Gamers don't have to actually eliminate their appointed bounty themselves; as long as they outlive the target, it'll count towards this quest's progression.

Muscle Memory spray

Defeat a boss

At the moment, there is only one boss on the Fortnite battle royale map. Players have to find and defeat the Ageless Champion at the Citadel in order to complete this quest.

Emote in the Citadel throne room

While at the Citadel to defeat the Ageless Champion, gamers should take this opportunity to emote in the throne room, which is located right in the middle of the building. Players can go up the stairs and enter through the southern entrance, then simply head inside and the first room they encounter will be the throne room (the Ageless Champion can sometimes be found inside in this room, even though he mostly wanders around the exterior.)

Igni Sign emote

Deal 500 melee weapon damage to opponents

Dealing damage with a harvesting tool can be complicated in Fortnite. The easiest way to complete this quest is to hit knocked enemies until they're down to 0 HP; it should take about five or six opponents until the player has dealt enough damage.

Once all five of these quests are completed, the player will be rewarded with the addition of the Geralt of Rivia skin to their in-game locker.

Fortnite is available on mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
