Sky Jellies are wildlife that was added to Fortnite at the beginning of Chapter 4 Season 1, and one of the current "This Week" quests instructs players to jump on them in order to gain health or shields. While this instruction is quite straightforward, finding Sky Jellies in Fortnite can prove to be a bit difficult. For those fans that are indeed struggling to find these creatures, this guide is here to provide recommendations on where to look for them.
Fortnite: Sky Jelly Locations
The first thing that players should know about Sky Jellies is that they do not spawn in the same place on Fortnite's map every match. As such, fans should not expect to consistently complete this quest by targeting a single location, and they should instead look for the relevant creatures as they traverse a path that passes through several possible spawn points. Here are details on such a path, and players should be on the lookout for Sky Jellies throughout the entirety of their journeys:
- Land south of Breakwater Bay and grab a vehicle.
- Drive south past Fortnite's Shattered Slabs, staying near to the coastline
- Drive east through Frenzy Fields.
- Drive east to the small body of water that is south of Faulty Splits.
If a player does not encounter any Sky Jellies along this route, it is recommended that they make their way to the grassy area that is just southeast of Anvil Square. Indeed, this wildlife has a tendency to spawn where the summer and autumn biomes meet, which makes this a great spot to check.
Regardless of exactly where a Fortnite player finds Sky Jellies, they should jump into them once they have been located. This action will give the player character a small boost into the air and bestow 20 health or shields upon them. This means that players will need to jump on a total of three Sky Jellies before the associated quest is marked as complete. Fortunately, these creatures spawn in groups, and fans should definitely be able to resolve the challenge at a single location.
With respect to what players will earn for gaining health or shields from jumping on Sky Jellies, the reward is 16,000 XP.
