Season 5 of Fortnite continues with a set of new challenges for players to complete and progress their new Battle Pass. Last week, Epic Games celebrated the game’s 1st birthday with a few themed challenges, like finding birthday cakes, but this week things are back to normal.
One challenge that should be familiar to most Fortnite players but changes depending on the week is the treasure map hunt. With these challenges, players need to head to a specific spot on the Fortnite map and claim a Battle Star. This week’s treasure map sends players to Flush Factory.
When completing the Flush Factory treasure map, players can head to the zone to see the map for themselves but we will save you the time. The area players are looking for depicts a house with a curved driveway, as seen below.
This house with a driveway is not too far from Flush Factory; it’s located in the Northwest corner of the G8 sector on the Fortnite map. There is a house up on a mountaintop that has a curved dirt driveway just like on the treasure map.
Once players arrive at the house they will see the Battle Star on the patch of grass and complete the challenge for the week. Their progress will continue towards all of the rewards for Season 5, which includes some skins that will evolve even after this season ends.
So far, Season 5 has proven to be just as popular with Fortnite players as any before. The introduction of the new desert biome has helped keep the landscape fresh and Epic regularly introduces new weapons and modes for players to enjoy. Granted, not all of those weapons have been met with enthusiasm – the SMG-heavy meta has many players fatigued – but the developers typically respond and tweak the experience to make it feel as fair as possible.
There is still plenty more left for Season 5 to offer and hopefully, more challenges like this are on the horizon. And rest assured it won’t be long before the solutions make their way online for those impatient gamers out there.
