It is certainly not uncommon for a Fortnite challenge to center around collecting Floating Rings, and indeed players are instructed to look for these objects once again this week. This time around Fortnite fans will be hunting for Floating Rings at Steamy Stacks, and there are five of them to collect in total. For those players that may be having trouble locating some of these blue rings, this guide looks to provide all of the information that they might need.
To start, fans that are working on this challenge will need to make their way to Steamy Stacks, and this named location can be found at the northeast corner of Fortnite's map. Upon arrival, players will need to track down all of the Floating Rings, and here is a map and more details that should fully clarify their precise positions:
Fortnite: Floating Rings at Steamy Stacks Locations
- 1: The first Floating Ring at Steamy Stacks is located on top of a vertical, metal pole. Players should be able to see it quite easily when standing on the building to the west of the Floating Ring, and they can glide to it directly from this structure if they wish to.
- 2: This Floating Ring is situated on a horizontal pipe that runs along the exterior of the buildings. The elevation of this pipe means that players may again want to use their Fortnite Gliders to reach it, but building a ramp will work just as well.
- 3: Players will need to make their way into the building on the east side of Steamy Stacks for this Floating Ring, and they should direct their attention to the ceiling once inside.
- 4: This Fortnite Floating Ring is also tucked inside of a building, but this time players will be focusing on the structure at the center of Steamy Stacks. More specifically, fans should head to the large room in the middle of this building, and the ring is dangling just below a yellow claw.
- 5: The final Floating Ring can be found on an exterior ledge on the west side of Steamy Stacks.
Once a player has collected all five of these Floating Rings, they will immediately receive their reward for completing this Fortnite Season 4 Week 9 challenge. That reward is 25,000 XP, and it is sure to be appreciated by those fans that are still trying to level up their Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass. This challenge is certainly not the only way for players to earn XP at the time of writing, though, as there are a variety of other tasks available as well.
