It's been a busy few weeks for Epic Games' popular battle royale, Fortnite, which recently kicked the third season of its second chapter. As expected, the map received a significant overhaul not only with new locations but many areas being completely flooded. In addition to new content, a few bugs have also seemingly made it into the game including on particularly nasty glitch that significantly impacts the important healing item Chug Jug.

The issue has gained a lot of traction lately after a new post appeared on the Fortnite subReddit asking if other players have run into an issue with the Chug Jug. Specifically, the player was unable to actually pick up the item, which has turned out to be a bit more widespread that initially thought. With a constant stream of replies indicating that the issue was also happening to others, the popularity has seemingly caught the attention of Epic Games.

Responding to the growing thread, Epic Games confirmed that there is an issue with the item and that it is currently being investigated by the team. Heading over to the public Trello board, which lists known issues being investigated by Epic, players can get a bit more information on the problem. Essentially, when a player drops an Ocean's Bottomless Chug Jug while it is recharging, the item becomes glitched and can't be picked up. A Backpack Full! message appears instead regardless if they have an open inventory slot.

For now, this issue isn't too far along in the process as the team is still looking into the issue. Other top issues being looked at for the Battle Royale including issues like Supply Drops not opening at The Authority, Gliders not moving as fast after redeploying, the XP bar not displaying the correct amount inside a match, placing a map marker cancels player movement, and more.

While the current issues continue to get worked on, many fans have started looking towards the future for new cosmetic items that have leaks out a bit early. A few days ago, Fortnite dataminers discovered that the highly anticipated Aquaman skin will be finally available to purchase starting on July 16. In addition to Aquaman, his nemesis Black Manta will also be available to purchase in the shop along with his Black Manta Blades.

Fortnite is currently available to play now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
