Fortnite's Season 5 Week 5 challenges are now live, and a number of them center around burying and digging up different items. One of the things that players can excavate for a reward this week is a Blue Coin, and indeed it is located in Retail Row. For those fans that may be having trouble finding the exact position of this Blue Coin in Fortnite, this guide is here to provide assistance.

To put things simply, the buried Blue Coin for this Fortnite challenge is located in the yard of the house at the southwest corner of Retail Row. This residence's yellow paint job makes finding it quite easy, and players that are working on the challenge should direct their attention to the small mound on the ground near the basketball hoop. For full clarity, the video below highlights the precise position of the house and the relevant mound.

Upon locating the heap, fans should simply hit it with their harvesting tools in Fortnite to reveal the Blue Coin. When that has occurred, players will receive indication that they have completed the find the buried Blue Coin in Retail Row challenge, and they will earn 20,000 XP for their efforts. While it is true that this may not be enough XP to push fans to the top tiers of Fortnite's Season 5 Battle Pass, it is sure to be appreciated nonetheless.

Interestingly, the Blue Coin for this challenge is identical in appearance to the XP Coins that have appeared in previous seasons. Those collectibles have given players the opportunity to earn a lot of additional XP in the past, and perhaps this challenge foregrounds the reappearance of XP Coins in the upcoming weeks. For now, though, this Blue Coin is the only one that can be found on Fortnite's map, and fans will need to pursue other avenues for making Battle Pass progress.

Perhaps the most obvious of these avenues is to complete all of the weekly challenges, but it is certainly not the only option. Indeed, players can earn themselves quite a lot of XP by working on Milestones and tackling Bounties in Fortnite Season 5, and there are no shortage of these activities in the game. Even still, fans that are hoping to unlock all of the Sapphire, Topaz, and Zero Point skin styles this season, which requires reaching Level 225, have a ton of work to do despite the many XP-earning opportunities that are available.

Fortnite is free-to-play for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
