A new batch of challenges, dubbed the Jungle Hunter Quests, are now available in Fortnite, and they are giving players the opportunity to earn several unique cosmetic rewards. At the time of writing, there are three of these challenges available, and one that may be causing some confusion instructs fans to find a mysterious pod. Fortunately, this is something that Fortnite players can do quite easily by following just the bit of instruction that is featured in this guide.
To put things simply, the mysterious pod referenced by this new Fortnite challenge can be found in Stealthy Stronghold, a named location just northeast of Coral Castle. More specifically, the pod is situated in the northwest quadrant of Stealthy Stronghold, and it is none other than the Predator's ship. For those players that prefer a visual reference, the map below highlights the precise position of the mysterious pod in Fortnite.
Upon arrival at the relevant location, players should receive immediate indication that they have completed the find the mysterious pod challenge and that they have earned a reward. That reward is the Predator Banner Icon, and indeed it is just one of the cosmetic items that can be obtained by tackling Jungle Hunter Quests. The other two items that are currently available are the Plasma Caster Reticle Emoticon and the Heat Vision Hunter Spray, and Fortnite players that want them must first speak with three specific NPCs and collect some Medkits.
To note, fans should expect even more Jungle Hunter Quests to arrive in the upcoming days and weeks, and these are sure to be further rewards granted upon their completion. Ultimately, it is understood that taking on all of these challenges will give players access to a Predator skin in Fortnite, and that is something that many fans will undoubtedly be interested in. While the release date for that skin is not currently confirmed, fans can start working toward it now by completing the available Jungle Hunter Quests.
Players can also occupy themselves with some other in-game activities while they wait for more of these special challenges to come.
