Several new punchcards are now available in Fortnite, including one that is dubbed “Containment Specialist.” This particular punchcard is connected to Fortnite’s Ghosbusters: Afterlife event, and it begins by sending players to talk to the Containment Specialist. After completing just one quest for this NPC, fans will be instructed to exterminate mini-Pufts with a Pickaxe in Sludgy Swamp, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row, and this guide details exactly how that is done.

Fortnite: Mini-Puft Locations

The crux of this task is finding the mini-Pufts, and while the challenge description does point players in the right direction, it is not extremely specific. For those Fortnite fans that would like a little more instruction, the following maps and descriptions should prove to be quite helpful.

Sludgy Swamp

There is a small brick structure in the vicinity of the two larger factory buildings in Sludgy Swamp. The mini-Pufts are near the tanks and counter inside of that structure.

Lazy Lake

Players that would like to exterminate the mini-Pufts at Lazy Lake should turn their attention to the large house with the pool at the southeastern corner. Specifically, they can be found in and around the grill and sinks that are outside with the aforementioned pool.

Retail Row

Fans that opt to target Fortnite's Retail Row should head to McGuffin’s bookstore, which is located on the eastside next to the diner. Players will see a number of mini-Pufts gathered near the cash register immediately upon entering this shop.

To note, there are five mini-Pufts to be found at each of these spots, and only three need to be exterminated to complete the challenge. That means that fans simply need to visit one location, and all of them are perfectly suitable. Regardless of the area that a player ultimately chooses to visit, they should hit the mini-Pufts that they find with their favorite harvesting tools in Fortnite to finish the quest and collect their reward.

With respect to exactly what that reward is, fans that complete the “exterminate mini-Pufts with a Pickaxe in Sludgy Swamp, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row” challenge will earn 30,000 XP. They will also gain access to the next quest from the Containment Specialist, which centers around retrieving mechanical parts by destroying cars. This is one of the easiest challenges on the punchcard, as there are cars all over Fortnite’s map, and indeed fans should have very little trouble getting it done.

Fortnite is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
