Still grinding out new content, Fortnite has a lot of challenges to offer players. On top of the XP earning challenges, new crossovers are still happening, with a Walking Dead crossover coming soon.
The nature of challenges in Fortnite has changed somewhat with the advent of the fifth Season. Regular challenges now refresh with a new regular mission after being completed, while Weekly Challenges have become Epic and Legendary Challenges. Every week has a brand new round of Epic Challenges available to the player, rewarding XP upon completion. One of these challenges requires players to drive through a flaming ring in a car, so here's a quick guide to it.
Finding a Car
This is probably the easiest part of the challenge, since there are vehicles all over the new Fortnite map. However, it's best to find a vehicle near one of the flaming rings, otherwise, the drive could be pretty long. It's important to complete the challenge quick, earn a bunch of XP, and get on with the game, so finding the right car is imperative. Fortunately, the right car is readily available in Pleasant Park, at least for two of the rings. Hop in a sports car there and prepare to drive.
The First Ring
It's important to note that players need only drive through one of the rings to complete the challenge, but there are three that players can choose from. The easiest is almost directly north of Pleasant Park. This is the same area where players can go to easily destroy mailboxes, and can even do so before getting in the car. Look for a hill with a ramp leading off of it into empty air, as though it's set up for a big jump. The flaming ring is right there, so drive on through. Don't worry about crashing the car, the challenge will still be completed.
The Second Ring
This one is due east of Pleasant Park's northeastern corner. Head along the road until coming to a dirt path on the left. Turn onto it and follow it to an area near the bridge where another flaming ring will appear. Hop on through and the XP will do its part to get the upgraded Mandalorian armor.
The Third Ring
This one is quite out of the way and distant from Pleasant Park. It's the trickiest to find and get a car to, so it's best to only go for it if Pleasant Park is swarmed. Grab a car and head up the craggy hills in between Craggy Cliffs and Steam Stacks. Hidden among them is an off-road racing site. The flaming ring is right at the starting line. It's a longer drive, but that will just contribute to one of Fortnite's new milestones for more XP.
