Dragon Ball has already been able to work its way into the world of Fortnite, and more content is set to join Goku as Epic Games is teasing new content from Dragon Ball Super. Vegeta, along with a few others from Dragon Ball Super, is available to unlock as skins for players to run around the island of Artemis to live out their shonen fantasies as if they were in the anime or manga. While Epic Games has only given a small tease of the content to come as of this writing, it appears the studio is pulling some of it from Dragon Ball Super's latest feature film.

The first Dragon Ball Super content for Fortnite was released in August 2022 as part of a larger in-game crossover event akin to the Marvel and Star Wars crossovers the game has done in the past. Players could pick up Capsule Corps. capsules dropped randomly across the map during a match to receive either a Kamehameha attack or a Flying Nimbus to glide around the map. Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, and Bulma were all also added as skins for the game for players to unlock or outright purchase and are still available in the game's shop.

Epic Games teased the newest Dragon Ball Super content coming to the game in a tweet on Fortnite's official Twitter account along with the date of January 31, 2023. The image features a Red Ribbon Army plane flying above Artemis, hinting some of the new content will be taken from the latest film in the Dragon Ball series, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. That said, no other items or characters are visible in the post's image to provide additional hints as to the other content coming to Fortnite.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was the first film in the Dragon Ball series' long history to be produced primarily with 3D animation, a departure from the colorful 2D animation style audiences have known since the original 1986 series. While most of the films focused on series hero Goku, Super Hero gave the spotlight to Piccolo and Gohan as they battle a revived Red Ribbon Army and new, powerful set of androids created to battle Goku and his allies. The movie proved to be a hit, receiving largely positive reviews from critics, and went on to become the highest-grossing film in the series' history.

Given the teased content in the image, players could argue one to all the new character skins will also be taken from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. The film's lead heroes, Gohan and Piccolo, would be the front-runners to join the other skins currently available, though an argument could be made for the androids Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 to be options as well. That said, there is no lack of choice at Epic Games' hands to choose from across Dragon Ball Super for the latest crossover.

Fortnite is available for mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
