Fortnite has seen plenty of cool music-centric events take place in-game this year, most notably with Travis Scott’s record-breaking Astronomical concert, and that trend looks set to continue with this weekend’s Diplo concert, titled Diplo Presents: Higher Ground.

The popular producer Diplo has served as Fortnite’s resident DJ for the past few months, having headlined multiple live performances in the game’s Party Royale mode throughout the summer. Higher Ground will mark the end of his residency with what Epic Games calls “a deep house musical show featuring trance-inducing, sophisticated beats.” In order to take part, though, players will need to know where to be and when.

When and Where to Watch the Diplo Event

Given how popular Fortnite’s main Battle Royale mode is, it’s likely that many players haven’t tried out the more casual Party Royale mode yet and therefore don’t know how to access it. Luckily, the process is simple. All they have to do is select the Party Royale playlist from the Battle Royale mode, and they’ll find themselves on the smaller Party Royale island.

From there, they’ll find the Main Stage on the western edge of the island. This is where Fortnite has hosted everything from concerts to movie screenings, and it’s here that the Higher Ground event will take place tomorrow, July 31, at 11:00 AM PST/2:00 PM EST. If anyone can’t make that, Epic will reair the 30-minute show on Monday, August 3, at 6:00 PM PST/9:00 PM EST.

Diplo Event Items

Aside from Diplo’s sophisticated beats, Fortnite is also introducing new cosmetic items for players to take into the show. This includes the Afterparty Wrap, a “music-reactive” weapon skin that will be given out for free to all players who log into the game from tonight at 5:00 PM PST/8:00 PM EST to this Saturday, August 1.

Joining it will be a number of new character skins as well, including the new Envision Outfit that will be added to Fortnite’s Item Shop tonight at the aforementioned times, along with the music-reactive Back Scratcher Back Bling and Light Knives Pickaxe. Additionally, Epic will be adding three new skins, Party Diva, Party MVP, and Party Star Outfits, as well as a new style for the returning Nightlife skin. In keeping with “the spirit of the show,” these skins will also be music-reactive.

Fortnite is free-to-play on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions in development.
