Since the beginning of Season 2 of Chapter 2 for Fortnite, fans have been thrilled about the idea of bringing Deadpool into the game as a playable skin. It seems like they will not have to wait much longer, as a clue has been found within the HQ that points to a release date to finally play as Deadpool within Fortnite very soon.
As players have continued to complete the Deadpool challenges each week, more of his HQ lair has revealed itself. And thus, a message seems to have been uncovered, and in this case, in true Deadpool fashion, a joke that is right in line with the times.
Deadpool seems to have purchased loads of toilet paper, among the COVID-19 pandemic no less, and right above that toilet paper is a calendar. That calendar looks to point to an April 3rd release date, which would be when the week 7 challenges also drop. The Deadpool challenges wouldn't rank as the hardest Fortnite challenges of all time, so it wouldn't be a surprise if many are running around as the fourth-wall-breaking character soon.
Deadpool is just the latest in a long line of amazing crossovers for Fortnite. From John Wick to Batman to Star Wars, the battle royale has been on a roll with countless characters and storylines from other franchises.
