Fortnite has added the Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool, into the latest season, and with him comes several weekly challenges. The Deadpool crossover event can be found in a hidden room on the menu, where players can accept the weekly challenges. Challenges have been consistently releasing every Thursday for the past two weeks. However, it was announced yesterday that the challenges will now be released every Friday for gamers to enjoy.

Gamers will need to have purchased a Fortnite Battle Pass in order to access to the Deadpool crossover event. Once the Battle Pass has been acquired, gamers can access the challenges on a hidden screen in the menu. This will lead players to Deadpool's hidden hideout and tons of fun items to explore.

Many of the challenges at the moment are incredibly easy, like finding a letter to Epic Games from Wade, or not thanking the bus driver before launching into the game. It is likely that the challenges will result in a new Deadpool skin for gamers to run around in, but there hasn't been a confirmation of whether this is the ultimate goal for the event.

This week's Deadpool challenges included having players search for Deadpool's milk carton and looking for Deadpool's iconic chimichangas. As ridiculous as these challenges are, they do fit the general theme of Deadpool's anti-hero aesthetic. Whether these challenges actually lead to a Deadpool skin is yet to be seen, but it is highly anticipated by gamers looking to suit up in the red and black suit.

Deadpool isn't the only addition to season 2 chapter 2. Plenty of challenges have littered the map and called for players to chose between either the Ghost Faction or the Shadow Faction. Whichever team accomplishes the most missions are said to alter the map for the future. The new spy-themed map has become inundated with dangerous Henchmen bots and secret underground safe houses.

Players have the ability to unlock the newest skins like Brutus, Meowscles, and other golden skins. The season has also introduced the new mysterious villain Midas who is hoarding all of the legendary weapons throughout the map. Whether or not the spy-like challenges will ever intersect with the Deadpool challenges is yet to be seen.

Fortnite is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One
