With the fourth season of Fortnite and its Marvel content continuing into November, more superhero skins are continuously being added for fans of the battle royale. The newest addition to Fortnite sees none other than Daredevil added to the game’s huge cast of characters, with the character sporting his classic comic book costume design.

Tweeted out by Epic Games in a way that resembles the addition of the vampire hunter Blade, Daredevil’s arrival to Fortnite surely came out of nowhere to players not up to date with the leaks. His addition to the game will work a bit differently, however, as the vigilante will be unlockable early as part of a new tournament series within Fortnite. Dubbed the Marvel Knockout Super Series, the limited time mode will feature the use of the Marvel heroes’ abilities and a $1 million-dollar grand prize for the lucky players who win.

The handful of players who win the first round of the tournament will get early access to the Daredevil outfit as well, with the costume coming to all players in the item shop some time down the road. While everyone participating in the competition will get access to a special glider, only a select few will be dressing up as the defender of Hell’s Kitchen anytime soon. With Daredevil only being the focus of the competition’s first week, however, it is likely that other leaked heroes such as Venom are unlockable in the other weeks of the contest and come to the item shop later.

The Marvel Knockout Super Series comes to an end November 21st, which could be when Daredevil enters the item shop. He may also arrive after the first round of the tournament comes to an end, though, so players who are fans of the character should have their V-bucks ready to go before that date. Marvel fans may want to prepare a few extra bits of in-game currency as well, as another Marvel leak points at Captain Marvel or Ghost Rider possibly joining Fortnite soon.

For Fortnite players eager for some non-Marvel content, they may be getting their wish in the form of some leaked Halloween content for Fortnite. The return of the Fortnitemares event seems to be just around the corner, bringing new and spooky skins for Fortnite’s many characters.

With a Daredevil skin confirmed and Halloween content supposedly on the way, Fortnite players will have no shortage of things to do during the remainder of season four. Despite Fortnite remaining banned by Apple, Epic’s plans for the battle royale game seem to be carrying on perfectly fine.

Fortnite is available now on the Epic Games Store, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are currently in development.
