Fortnite Epic Quests are a great way of earning a lot of XP for performing small tasks that loosely relate to the evolving story of the battle royale. This dancing quest might seem easy at first glance, but there is actually only 1 Abductor on the Fortnite map at the moment, so players will have an easier time dancing as a passenger on a Saucer.
Where to find Saucers to dance on top of in Fortnite
There are 3 ways of finding a Saucer to dance on top of in Fortnite:
- Land on one while dropping from the Battle Bus
- Shoot one down after landing, enter, then switch to the passenger position
- Land at a location with an unoccupied Saucer, enter, then switch to the passenger position
A good spot to find an unoccupied Saucer that won’t be crowded with people is Durrr Burger. The restaurant is located southwest of Weeping Woods, with the Saucer in its parking lot.
If playing with a friend, they can pilot the Saucer, which leaves players free to hop on and bust out their best dancing Emote. If playing solo, just switch to the passenger position when inside, and then use a dancing Emote.
Players can also choose to jump from the Battle Bus above a location that has purple-grey writing on the map. These areas have plenty of ships already flying around. Players will have to be careful to time the landing just right. Once on top of a Saucer, choose a dance to use (like the Gangnam Style Emote) and the Epic Quest will complete.
If players miss the landing, they can always shoot one of the ships down so they can dance on top of it. Once a long-range weapon and plenty of ammo has been looted, head outside and fire at the Saucer until drops. Be careful, as a Trespasser will leave the ship and act hostile towards players unless they have an Alien Parasite attached to their heads. Take out the Trespasser and then get in the Saucer, change to the passenger position, and remember to use a dancing Emote to complete the quest.
Where to find Abductors to dance on top of in Fortnite
Abductors are the purple-grey circles on the map that suck players up when they get too close to them. They can also abduct people up into the Mothership, which is a great way to get the new Grab-itron weapon. Unfortunately, there is only one on the map right now, and it's right in the middle of the map.
The Abductor is very easy to land on, but as it's in the middle of the map and holds a fair amount of loot, it’s a popular landing spot. Still, if players don’t mind a higher chance of being eliminated, they can dance on top of an Abductor here to quickly clear the quest.
Dancing on top of an Abductor or as a passenger on a Saucer will reward players with an easy 30K XP, helping Battle Pass owners on their way to unlocking cosmetics like Rick Sanchez, and Superman, when he becomes available.
