Fortnite is rolling out a fresh series of quests for players to complete around the island. For Week 5, one such quest has players dancing near Zyg and Choppy, one of Fortnite's newly added NPCs. While dancing is easy enough, the real trick to this challenge is actually finding the pair.

Epic Games' popular free-to-play battle royale title is now into its second month of Season 7. The new season has brought many new pieces of content into the fold, such as the all-new high-tech IO and alien weaponry, flying saucers, and alien parasites. There's now rumors circulating that Fortnite is adding a preferred slot item organization system, something that longtime fans of the game have been requesting for years.

How to Dance Near Zyg and Choppy in Fortnite

Fortnite players may recognize Zyg and Choppy, as they're both unlockable cosmetics in this season's battle pass. The duo has only existed as a skin until now, when the game's latest update brought them onto the island. The official Epic Games website gives the vague location the robot and alien as "towards the south" of the island, although its been discovered that Zyg and Choppy are located at the Hydro 16 power plant, the same place where players found alien graffiti-covered walls a couple of weeks ago. Players just need to head inside the building and dance near the new NPC in order to complete the quest. However, this is easier said than done.

Zyg and Choppy just so happen to be the latest Fortnite boss. Possessing a copious amount of health and the new life-draining Mythic Ray Gun, players will want to be sure to find some shields and weapons before attempting to take on the AI. Once defeated, the NPC will drop Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun, which boasts a devastating DPS of 180, and players will be safe to bust out some dance moves. However, there is a quicker, much less confrontational method to completing the quest, minus getting the Mythic weapon. There are several alien parasite eggs inside of Hydro 16, and if a player gets one on their head, Zyg and Choppy won't perceive them as a threat, easily enabling a dance.

The new NPC is far from the only thing added in the latest Fortnite update. Beyond Zyg and Choppy showing up on the island, the new Alien Nanites item has become available as well. The multipurpose item can be thrown to create a temporary alien biome, similar to the physics found in the alien mothership. Alien Nanites also function as a crafting ingredient. Rather than changing weapons into otherwise-vaulted counterparts like with Nuts and Bolts, the nanites transform standard Rare or higher weapons into one of the new high-tech Season 7 guns, like an Assault Rifle into a Pulse Rifle, or a SMG to a Ray Gun.

Players who complete this quest will be rewarded with a large chunk of XP and, depending on how it's completed, the latest Mythic weapon. Those who do this early enough in the game can then head southwest to Misty Meadows, one of the locations of this week's Alien Artifacts.

Fortnite is free-to-play for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
