Fortnite has had crossovers with numerous franchises since its inception, including a variety of comic book characters. Fortnite has crossed over with Batman, Superman, The Avengers, and most recently, Spider-Man. Fortnite's Spider-Man crossover has proven to be a bit more elaborate than some of the other crossovers in the game, not only giving players access to multiple skins based on the character, but also featuring a Spider-Man Point of Interest and usable web shooters.

Fortnite fans have responded positively to the Spider-Man content in the game, with particular praise given to the web shooters and how they enhance mobility. Now it seems that even more Spider-Man themed content is on its way to the battle royale game, as a recent leak suggests that the Daily Bugle Point of Interest is about to get an upgrade that adds three new NPCs to the area, all presumably based on characters from the Spider-Man comic books.

This information comes from reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX, though fans should still take this news with a grain of salt. HYPEX believes that one of the three NPCs that will start spawning at the Daily Bugle is Mary Jane Watson, who will apparently sell an infinite web shooter to players in exchange for 400 Gold. Since the Spider-Man web shooters in Fortnite are such a popular item, being able to get a guaranteed one that never runs out of web fluid is likely going to make the Daily Bugle an especially hot drop zone for fans.

HYPEX isn't sure about the other two characters coming to the Daily Bugle, but they speculate that one will be the Green Goblin. They came to this conclusion because of the glider animations associated with original Fortnite character The Foundation and how Epic previously teased that Fortnite would be adding both Spider-Man's friends and his enemies to the battle royale game. The third NPC coming to Fortnite is anyone's guess, as HYPEX isn't sure who it will be.

There are a ton of Spider-Man characters that could make their way to Fortnite, with Spider-Man himself having quite a long list of allies and an extensive rogues gallery. Fans will likely have to wait for official information to know more, but in the meantime, they can keep exploring the Chapter 3 battle royale map.

Fortnite is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
