A Fortnite x Creed collab could be in the works, and the event might be coming to the game in the near future. Fortnite is a battle royale game with creative, unique mechanics that definitely set it apart from other names in the genre, which is what has made it succeed and stand out for so long in the gaming world. Besides its fun gameplay, there's also one aspect of the game that seems to truly catch people's attention: its extensive collection of cosmetic items.
From an eclectic pool of skins to viral dances that nearly everyone recognizes, Fortnite has certainly excelled when it comes to cosmetics. On top of that, the game's popularity has increased to an extent that it's no longer a surprise when leaks suggest Fortnite collaborations with famous names. Over the years that the game has been active, there have been awesome collabs that no one ever expected to see - especially mixed together in a battle royale setting. And now, another popular character might be joining the roster.
Recently, leaks suggested that Sam Wilson's Captain America could be coming to Fortnite, and it was soon proven to be true as the skin became available in the Item Shop. This time around, known leakers in the community are pointing at the possibility of a collaboration with Creed. It is unknown whether cosmetic items are being added, but quests are likely coming soon; it seems that there is a codename in the files named "Creed Quests."
There is no confirmation yet on Epic's part, but it could very well be true with the third movie's release being right around the corner. The last Creed 3 trailer was a hit that left many wanting to see more. Certainly, most fans of both Creed and Rocky movies would enjoy seeing their favorite fighters battle against others in a battle royale match.
After the leak hit the Reddit community, fans quickly started speculating about what could be done with this IP. Some hoped for boxing gloves as a harvesting tool, similar to the already available Hulk Smashers. Others wanted a celebratory traversal emote with the Rocky music playing behind so they could show it off after getting a Victory Royale. These are all interesting ideas, but for now, what seems most likely is a few quests to promote the movie. Even though it would be disappointing to some fans, there could be no Creed or Rocky skins coming to Fortnite.
