One of the many reasons why Fortnite is so popular is its inclusion of unique skins. Once a standard Battle Royale-type game, the title has evolved in all ways it was capable of doing so. With each update came an array of new character models for the player to sport during their quest to achieve a Victory Royale.

Many of the most popular and sought-after skins have sadly been confined to their time, resulting in them no longer appearing in the recent renditions of Fortnite. Whether they have been restricted behind the Battle Pass system, in-game challenges, or certain events, fans are eager for them to return.

10 Deadpool

Though the Deadpool skin was not confined to the Battle Pass, it still required an arduous amount of work to obtain. Unlocked by completing several weekly missions during Chapter 2: Season 2, the option to wear Deadpool's iconic suit was given to only a select few.

As one of the most popular comic to movie characters in history, it is understandable why Fortnite fans are eager for the Deadpool skin to return. Having been locked behind an abundance of difficult tasks, Deadpool's implementation into the Item Shop could allow those who failed to unlock him the chance to claim him once and for all.

9 Fusion

Upon the release of Fortnite's Chapter 2, fans were ecstatic to discover what they would earn upon reaching Tier 100. The Fusion skin saw the game returning to its roots with its frightening, but impressive approach to character design.

If not for Fortnite's child-friendly approach to character design, Fusion could easily have become something of a nightmare. Engulfed in blue flames, this sinister-looking skeleton was truly something to be feared if encountered in action.

8 Luxe

By reaching Tier 100 in the Chapter 1: Season 8 Battle Pass, players were rewarded with the Luxe skin. Though Luxe is arguably one of the most straightforwardly designed Legendary skins available in the game, its charm was undeniable.

Players were able to unlock different styles to this skin depending on how many opponents they were able to outlive in-game, a feature that promoted individuality. As the first female character skin unlocked at Tier 100, Luxe's introduction marked a more inclusive approach to shaping the game.

7 Omega

The player would be rewarded with the Omega skin upon reaching Tier 100 of the Season 4 Battle Pass. Clad in futuristic black armor with neon lights shining from his visor, Omega was a frightening sight to behold while engaging in combat.

With multiple styles and colors available to unlock, the Omega skin allowed the player to inject a part of their personality into this haunting figure. Its return to the franchise would permit fans a chance to experience how they first felt during the game's uncomplicated beginnings.

6 The Reaper

The Reaper Skin In Fortnite John Wick

The Reaper skin quickly became one of the most popular skins in Fortnite due to its resemblance to the character of John Wick, portrayed by Keanu Reeves. Being the first outfit rewarded for reaching Tier 100, many players chose this skin to showcase their determination to other players.

The Reaper is arguably the most iconic Fortnite skin to date as it marked the first inclusion of a well-known property in its fictional world. It opened the doors to the inclusion of other familiar ideas and properties to join the game, so its return would be worthy of celebration.

5 Mandalorian

Chapter 2: Season 5 permitted fans the chance to obtain the Mandalorian skin. Based on the mostly faceless bounty hunter of Star Wars fame, its inclusion allowed the player to sport Beskar armor as they built their way to victory.

The Mandalorian skin was easy to obtain as it was immediately unlocked upon purchasing the Battle Pass, but his armor could only be claimed at Tier 100. Due to this, many players were unable to unlock Mando at his peak, but his return to Fortnite could remedy this.

4 Dire

The Dire skin in Fortnite

The Dire skin was a Legendary Outfit only available upon reaching Tier 100 of Season 6. Its appearance marked one of the first instances where the player could alter the design of one particular skin.

Beginning as a human in appearance, Dire's design could eventually be upgraded to fully resemble a werewolf. With an array of different appearances and fur coats, Dire was arguably one of the most popular canine cosmetics available in the game.

3 Meowscles

Meowscles could very well be the most baffling skin available in Fortnite. Given to the player as a reward for reaching Tier 60 in the Chapter 2: Season 2 Battle Pass, only a few have been able to use this human-cat hybrid on the battlefield.

With his impressive muscular build, alongside his adorable resting face, Meowscles was one of the strangest character models available in Chapter 2. Once an agent of the intelligence organization known as GHOST, Meowscles should have struck fear in his foes, but usually captured their hearts instead.

2 Black Knight

The Black Knight skin in Fortnite

Only available in Chapter 1: Season 2, Black Knight is currently one of the most yearned-for skins in all of Fortnite. Clad in medieval chain mail, this knight marked one of the first instances in the game where a skin could promote a sense of intimidation.

Fortnite is primarily known for its whacky and comical skins, so perhaps it is time for the Black Knight to reprise his role of fearmonger. Though several skins have come close to recapturing the fear factor this knight was able to exhume, none have been able to fully achieve it as well as he did.

1 Agent Peely

Designed largely under the influence of his banana-shaped counterpart, Agent Peely is a far more sophisticated rendition of Peely, the first banana skin introduced in the game. Sporting an array of snazzy suits, Agent Peely is arguably the most charming skin available to the player.

Agent Peely was only available in Chapter 2: Season 2, rendering him currently unobtainable. Though fans will regularly gain access to his unclothed fruity associate when the Item Shop permits it, many long for the chance to leap from the Battle Bus donning Agent Peely's attire.

Fortnite is available to play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
