Fortnite: All Collection Book Rewards

In the co-op sandbox game Fortnite from Epic Games, players have a collection book that they are meant to fill with cards by retiring heroes and recycling weapons. Adding items to the collection book is integral to success in Fortnite, as it increases the collection book's level, in turn gifting players with a number of highly useful rewards.

Perhaps the most important items players obtain from the collection book in Fortnite are used to evolve heroes and weapons in the game, like Pure Drops of Rain and Lightning in a Bottle. These items can be earned other ways in the game, mainly by completing quests, but one of the only guaranteed ways to collect them is by leveling the collection book.

As players will notice when they look through the different rewards for leveling their collection book, it doesn't offer anything higher than a legendary item. So while leveling the collection book is a good way to earn uncommon, rare, and epic items in Fortnite, relying on it for mythic heroes and weapons is a no-go. In order to unlock the absolute best cards in the game, players will still have to rely on random loot earned from smashing llama pinatas.

Of course, it's possible that future iterations of Fortnite will add mythic-level loot to the collection book rewards. After all, the game is still a paid early access title, and will likely undergo a number of major changes between now and its full release in 2018. In fact, Fortnite's first major update is coming at the end of August in the form of the Survive the Storm update, so major changes are coming even sooner than expected.

Fortnite is available now in early access for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game's full free-to-play release is scheduled for 2018.
