Fortnite's Legendary Quests for Chapter 2, Season 7, Week 9, have arrived to the battle royale island, allowing players the chance to earn some extra XP towards the Battle Pass. One of the quests requires players to go and collect resources from Holly Hatchery, which is a point of interest on the western side of the Fortnite map. This location used to be called Holly Hedges, but it got taken over by the Aliens a few weeks ago, and there are several low-gravity Nanite fields and Alien trees there now.

How to Collect Resources in Holly Hatchery

If players drop down to Holly Hatchery from the Fortnite Battle Bus, they should look for tall green hedges or wooden fences. Players can break these down with their harvesting tools to collect the wood resources. There are probably other resources that players can get for this quest to be completed, but destroying hedges and picket fences is definitely the easiest way.

Fortnite players will need to collect 100 resources from Holly Hatchery before the quest is completed. Once it's all collected, players will complete the quest, earn 30K XP, and move on to the next quest for week 9. This quest can be confusing as some players don't know what kind of resources to find or where to get them from, but once players know where to search, this quest can be wrapped up in just a few seconds into a match.

Fortnite fans can also use their time this week to search for the latest batch of Alien Artifacts for Week 9. There are five new ones to find this week and, like previous weeks, are scattered around the entire map. It'll take some time to collect them all, but players can earn extra XP and new styles for the alien Kymera skin.

In other Fortnite-related news, there's a Rift Tour happening this weekend and the celebrity pop singer, Ariana Grande, will be headlining the concert. Fortnite players will get the chance to experience some of Ariana's top hits live with five different showtimes from Friday to Sunday. Players will also earn rewards for completing Rift Tour quests, and Ariana will be getting her own skin that will be available for purchase in the item shop starting on Aug 4 at 8 PM ET.

Fortnite is currently free to play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
