A fan-favorite season 5 challenge is returning for Fortnite's season 6 week 8 challenges: the clay pigeon shooter. Much like last time, players will need to find three different clay pigeon shooters and shoot the pigeon (and occasional rubber duck) out of the sky three separate times. Other challenges include visiting named locations, which players may want to pursue at the same time as finding these shooters, and dancing in front of seven different fish trophies.

For this repeat Fortnite challenge, the hardest part may be tracking them down. Since players are only required to do three, it's made slightly easier by the fact that there are six on the map. Players should try to tackle this early by dropping to any of the following locations:

  • Pleasant Park - near the abandoned building west of here (Quadrant B4)
  • Shifty Shafts - South of this location, between Flush Factory (Quadrant D8)
  • Lazy Links - East of here, north of Tomato Town (Quadrant G3)
  • Paradise Palms - Far south of this named location, near the edge of the map (Quadrant I9)
  • Lonely Lodge - Due North of here, between it and Wailing Woods (Quadrant J4)
  • Leaky Lake - Northeastern section of the lake (Quadrant E4)

While many experienced Fortnite players may notice that these locations are practically the same as in season 5, many may also want to be weary of other players trying to complete this challenge. For those who prefer a visual map, here's one of the clay pigeon shooter locations, thanks to IGN:

Players should be completing this challenge soon, as season 6 is approach its end. With only two more weeks to go after this, players will want to make sure they are shoring up challenges and collecting the hidden battle stars. In fact, for those working on just that, here is the location of every season 6 hidden battle star and banner.

Fortnite is available now in early access on iOS, Android, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
