Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is well underway, and thus far the new season has brought with it many exciting changes and fun surprises. The biggest of which being that building in Fortnite has been disabled for a short time, meaning players can only rely on their combat skills and a variety of new movement options.

Fortnite has been building to a major war between the Seven, led by the Foundation, and the Imagined Order, the scientific militia who have been overseeing activity on the island for some time, and formerly being in possession of the Zero Point, the cosmic entity that holds control over the multiverse. The war between the IO and the Seven appears to be reaching boiling point based on what was revealed in the Chapter 3 Season 2 story trailer.

With Fortnite’s narrative growing in the background, the game has also been staying consistent with its various amounts of crossover characters. In Chapter 3 Season 2, the Battle Pass contains new characters from the Marvel universe like Doctor Strange and the Prowler, the latter of which being the season’s secret skin. The season has also seen many skins form the Icon series having a prominent return, and as such, a new skin has been added to this series.

Developer Epic Games announced that professional snowboarder and two-time gold medal champion Chloe Kim is coming to Fortnite. The character skin comes in a variety of styles, and also has several other accessories in the item set, such as the Sub-Zero Flight Back Bling, the Frozen Flourish Pickaxe, the Nunbola Glider, and the Board Flair emote. Grabbing all of these items from the item shop in the Chloe Kim bundle will also include the exclusive Nunbola’s Flight Loading Screen.

After the inclusion of popular athletes such as pro tennis player Naomi Osaka in Fortnite, it only made sense that more sports icons like Kim would be making an appearance in the game. Epic also announced that players would have the chance to unlock the characters skin and its associated items a few days early if they compete in the Chloe Kim Cup taking place on March 24.

There are several well-known celebrities who have joined the Icon series in Fortnite, from content creators like Ninja and TheGrefg, to musicians like Marshmallow and Ariana Grande, and even other athletes like LeBron James. And as Fortnite continues to expand, surely more famous faces will join the fight.
